VAPE JUNK SCIENCE:
Cross-sectional data can’t show causation. Stroke risk not reduced to non-smoking level for 5-15 years after quitting, so previous smoking bigger factor than brief vaping. Long-term dual use likely heavier smoking means they’re likely already higher risk for stroke even without vaping.

ST. LOUIS PARK, MN: (UPDATE)
Citing lung injuries known by CDC to be linked only to tainted THC, city bans all vapor products for ADULTS over 21, because they’ve already banned flavors and had passed T21 in 2017. Remember: every concession is an ANTZ win.

NATIONAL:
“FDA Finalizes Enforcement Policy on Unauthorized Flavored Cartridge-Based E-Cigarettes That Appeal to Children, Including Fruit and Mint”

“By not prioritizing enforcement against other flavored ENDS products in the same way as flavored cartridge-based ENDS products, the FDA has attempted to balance the public health concerns related to youth use of ENDS products with considerations regarding addicted adult cigarette smokers who may try to use ENDS products to transition away from combustible tobacco products.”

VAPE JUNK SCIENCE:
Cross-sectional data can’t show causation. Smoking and asthma were self-reported (very unreliable.) Most importantly, authors DON’T KNOW if subjects had asthma BEFORE they starting vaping! The GOOD NEWS being ignored by authors and media is that just 0.8% never-smokers vaped!
