CONNECTICUT: (UPDATE) Governor has signed Tobacco/Vapor 21 bill, denying adults 18-20 access to far safer alternatives to smoking. Tobacco/Vapor 21 laws don’t work, but mislead general public on risks and increase support for flavor bans, use bans & higher sin taxes.

OREGON: (HEADS UP!) HB 2270, a bill that would tax vapor products at 65% wholesale, has now passed out of the Joint Committee on Tax Expenditures by a vote of 8 to 3. It will need to pass by a three-fifths majority, since it’s a revenue-raising measure.
