NASSAU, NY: (UPDATE) Nassau County legislators voted unanimously Monday to ban the sale of flavored electronic cigarette products.
If the bill is signed into law, most flavored vaping products will not be allowed to be sold in the county.

THE MORE YOU KNOW: Student researchers at Bucknell University fire 40-60w & 55-70w unprimed atomizers at 200w, claim vaping exposes consumers to carbon monoxide. According to shop that says it sold the professor replacement atomizers during study, researchers had burned away part of the wick and charred the cotton.
NEW YORK CITY, NY: (UPDATE) City unwisely voted today to ban all flavored vapor products except tobacco flavor.
Vaping advocates understandably jeered and threw dollar bills from the balcony of the City Council chamber after the vote.

The Latest: NYC lawmakers ban flavored vaping products
ANTZ ANTI-LOGIC: Teens are spending $30/week on vapes for the bubble gum flavor instead of $1 for real bubble gum…so ANTZ tax vapes, because teens are “sensitive to price increases.”
Also, the gateway claim. Teens “vape for flavors,” but for some reason will move to cigarettes that taste like…tobacco smoke. Of course, if you ban vapor products….
