ILLINOIS: (UPDATE) Bill to deny early ADULT #smokers & #vapers access to the much safer alternative #vaping & #smokefree products that could actually eliminate #smoking passed in the Senate. Heading to new Governor’s desk and likely to be signed.

BARABOO, WISCONSIN: (UPDATE) Ordinance to ban use of #vaping products OUTSIDE, without any evidence of risk to bystanders or necessity of intervention, has passed after second reading, however #smokefree #tobacco products were removed from the ordinance.

UTAH: (UPDATE) Senate passes bill to deny early ADULT #smokers & #vapers access to much safer alternative #vaping & #smokefree products, still needs Governor’s signature, 86% tax remains in Senate for vote.

SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE: (HEADS UP!) Flavored #vaping & #smokefree product ban targeting vape shops is being considered, excluding mint & menthol, while some on Council want to ban ALL #vapor products altogether. Next workshop March 26th!

OKLAHOMA: (UPDATE) Vaping Advocates of Oklahoma reports that HB2288, prohibiting ALL businesses to allow #vaping in their own business (and some OUTDOOR spaces), was pulled from the agenda and will not be heard. Stay alert, Oklahomans!
